This restaurant gives extraordinary service and enjoyable food. One of the best restaurant in the area. The food and drinks came out fast and the prices were inexpensive. I recommend this place.

Lovely food and great atmosphere. Only issue was with prices. We got given the takeaway menu which we guess was down to covid restrictions. It was never explained that takeaway and eating in the restaurant the prices were different so was surprised when the bill came and we was playing more than what was calculated. Disappointing lack of communication

Great Service from start to finish. The food was unreal as always, I would high recommend gingers for all Indian cuisine lovers.

After visiting and reading previous reviews, please pay attention to your bills. I have just calculated £10 overcharging from the ‘Dine In’ menu on my receipt.
With regard to the food: portion sizes are small, dishes are dry, the ‘Balti‘ had a skim on top and tasted extremely sweet (not the norm for that dish), and the ‘Nan’ was the size of a slice of bread.
Please be aware of the above, and don’t expect too much from this restaurant, the food is average, nothing special for the money.

Not sure if it was to do with lockdown or new chefs, but these days the quality is not the same as it used to be. We used to eat in and order takeaway every week from Ginger spice, food was good before.. The last 3 or 4 times have been disappointing. Some of the staff are nice guys (the manager is always miserable doesn't even want to make eye contact).. The food is not good any more, Dry bajji's, stale tasting popadoms, watered down mint sauce just to name a few. seems like a lack of love goes in to the food now or they're just making cutbacks? Looking for a new Indian place to dine now, Ginger spice also overcharges.
